Why you shouldn't get the new MacBook Pro

On Tuesday October 14th, Apple announced revisions to both the MacBook and MacBook Pro. The gist of the changes to the MacBook Pro is a hardware boost, new one-peice aluminum body, bigger trackpad with mulitouch and no button, and the biggie: a glossy, reflective, glass screen.

Because of my web & graphic design background, I have always felt some pressure to switch to Mac but I had no real idea what the benefits would be. Afterall, the Adobe suite is available for Windows and Leopard.

My Must-Have Mac Apps

After months of playing with unstable install of OS X on my Thinkpad, I bought my first real Mac: a 15inch MacBook Pro. The first thing I did was look for apps to replace the ones I had used on Windows XP.

Not only was the switch to Mac easy but the quality of apps was actually better than those I used on Windows.
